Syncing Google Calendar with Outlook

Google calendar offers a utility on synchronizing events with Outlook, and you can set this up in less than 15 minutes (depends on the number of items you are syncing).

Here’s how…

• Check Compatibility. Google Calendar Sync is only compatible with Microsoft Outlook versions 2003 and 2007, and operating systems Windows XP and Windows Vista.
• Download and Install Google Calendar Sync.
• An option dialog will appear, enter your google account ID and password, then choose syncing option. By default the sync is bi-directional, change it according to your preference.

• After synchronizing your calendar with Outlook, you can now access it offline.

Currently, you can only synchronize your main Google calendar, but a future update should remove this limitation.
